TRANS-FORMARE: Visiones de transformación

The project TRANSFORMARE, “visions of transformation at the Frederic Marès Museum” by the “Confluencias” team of the Barcelona University (UB), of which I was part, proposed the creation of works of different disciplines inspired by the museum’s collection, mostly religious, in which we had privileged access during the two years that the museum remained closed due to renovation works.
During this period I made many color notes of the rooms and artworks, as well as two paintings of 1mx70cm, representing the mystical transformations of the Christian martyrs, ironically including myself in the image as Saint Bartholomew together with Saint Lucía.
